Your everyday responsibility will be to plan, drive and promote customer storytelling for New Relic: aligning messaging and value propositions for our technical product offerings, interviewing developer/engineer and IT buyer customers, learning about their detailed, complex use cases and capturing the impact of our technology in a compelling story that can be leveraged across multiple marketing and sales channels. Opportunity to work from a remote office may be available depending on applicant location. What You’ll Do Build and actively manage the planning and development of all forms of customer content, including use case studies, blogs, videos, community posts, etc. Work directly with our most strategic accounts and technical users to capture impactful stories for use in marketing and sales efforts. Plan and execute the storytelling workflow cross-functionally across account teams, product and technical marketing, and creative services (writers and video producers) including message alignment to Ideal Customer Personas (ICPs), drafting story briefs, conducting customer interviews, shaping and editing the narrative for each story and formatting content for use in digital campaigns, web, social, PR and events. Coordinate, track, promote and share multiple customer stories for organizational visibility and consumption via intranet posts, newsletters, infographics, slide decks. Maintain regular internal communications to inform other Relic’s of new and updated customer marketing content and activities. Manage the editorial process of customer story creation, and alignment of those stories to our value selling and solution selling models. Your Qualifications Must-haves: 7+ years’ experience in customer-facing role conducting interviews with B2B technology buyers and users; ability to understand technical content and industry and product use cases. Background in content marketing, customer reference programs, product or technical marketing, developer relations, communications preferably in a SaaS, cloud in a fast-paced company environment. Excellent storytelling skills including preparing advance briefing materials, interviewing and editing, publishing content in multiple formats + strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, engineering or computer science, communications or a related field. Ability to work in a dynamic ever-changing environment with a flexible growth attitude.Nice-to-haves: Understanding of technical products including Application Performance Monitoring, AI Ops, DevOps, or experience developing content targeted at IT buyers and developers Familiar with Adobe Experience Manager/DivvyHQ/Asana, Google Suite (productivity tools) (CRM) Strong project management and organization skills, highly motivated, proactive, ability to multi-task Public speaking skills for giving presentations and leading customer speakers to success Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
