Summary of Role

To enhance the Association’s organisational effectiveness and high energy culture through the design and delivery of learning and engagement initiatives to employees worldwide.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Conduct regular organizational training needs analysis to inform the development of a learning and development plan and portfolio that meets the IT learning needs of the Association globally

In partnership with Learning & Engagement, develop a global IT learning portfolio that is consistent and aligned with the Association business objectives and strategy

Design and deliver learning offerings that are identified through organizational learning needs analysis and in line with the Association’s strategy

Ensure the IT learning portfolio of activities are delivered on time, within budget, and with high satisfaction ratings from all stakeholders

Work with Learning & Engagement and the GBS HR team to manage the logistics for IT learning activities, including scheduling, registration, evaluation, record keeping and survey activities

Regularly review and refresh IT learning processes and practices to ensure that they are fit for purpose and follow best practice

Work with Learning & Engagement to create and maintain IT learning resources for inclusion in the global onboarding process

Create and maintain IT learning resources to populate an IT Learning portal on LEARN

Share IT learning and knowledge and expertise with the Learning & Engagement team

Ensure employees are informed of all IT learning activities in a timely fashion via a variety of channels

Implement a blend of different learning activities to appropriately meet the needs of differing learning styles and geographical distribution

Work with Learning & Engagement and GBS HR to Evaluate and report on return on investment for IT learning initiatives, ensuring that there is cost effective performance improvement

Work with the business to deliver IT learning initiatives to support major tech-enabled projects

Maintain partnerships with external providers that provides the Association with effective and efficient business arrangements

Any other relevant projects or tasks as required

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Excellent communication and diplomacy skills

Ability to engage, communicate with, and influence key stakeholders

Proven experience of a range of IT solutions (e.g. Microsoft Office; CRM; ERP; SaaS)

Learning & Development design and delivery

Facilitation skills

Excellent organisation of self to meet firm deadlines – can multitask very well

Proven experience of delivering IT training across multiple cultures

Evaluation of learning activities, identifying cost effective performance improvement

Effective writing skills – ability to articulate information clearly and effectively to different audiences.

Team working – ability to build ‘virtual’ relationships, work effectively outside immediate team

Occasional travel as needed

Must be flexible and willing to work outside of normal working hours if needed to accommodate a global audience

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

Proven experience in designing and effective delivery of a wide array of IT learning

Understanding and experience of the theories and practice underpinning learning and development

Experience working in a global organisation

Project Management

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

A qualification in learning & development, such as a Foundation Certificate in Learning and Development Practice, Diploma in L&D Practice, or equivalent would be desirable
