Role Overview:
The UK IT Project Coordinator is accountable for supporting delivery of programmes and projects aligned to our technology towers. The job holder will assist with assigned projects to ensure governance, artefacts and reporting is up to date.

What you’ll do:
Support the Programme/Project Manager with E2E delivery of IT projects by assisting as requested during the project lifecycle such as updating plans, costs, and resource schedules as appropriate.

Develop awareness of project dependencies within assigned work area

Become a ‘go to’ person within assigned work area for initial project queries.

Establish and manage effective and trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Understand the IT Project Governance process fully and ensure projects adhere to this process.

Ensure IT Project submissions and artefacts exist for each project, with clear traceability.

Produce up to date Project reporting and KPIs as requested within assigned work area.

Take on small and discreet projects as project management skills are developed and experience of working environment is gained.

Support continuous improvement ethos within the ITCS community.

What you’ll bring:
Some knowledge of IT project management and the variety of available methodologies.

Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy and at times fortitude and resilience.

Results oriented and delivery focus.

Able to show negotiating and influencing skills.

Must be well organised, work to deadlines and be analytical and articulate.

Must demonstrate a proactive approach, ‘can do’ attitude and ability to question information presented.

Demonstrable good team player skills being approachable to ensure rapport and trust within the project delivery team.
